Terms & conditions

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW APPLY TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARTY ON WHOSE BEHALF THE BOOKING IS MADE AND GOVERN YOUR CONTRACT WITH BEVERLEY HOLIDAYS.

  1. 1. BOOKING
    A booking is accepted when you receive an Invoice and Confirmation from Beverley Holidays. If the details are incorrect or if you do not receive confirmation within 7 days please contact our reservations office. A booking does not exist until you receive the Invoice and Confirmation. Bookings are not transferable. Bookings are for a maximum of 3 weeks.

  2. 2. DEPOSIT AND BALANCE
    We require a deposit of £70 per week or part week per holiday caravan, £90 per lodge or £50 per touring and tent pitch, plus our Cancellation Plan (optional). The balance is to be paid 28 clear days before your holiday commences. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday and retain the deposit paid if full settlement of the holiday has not been made within this time.

  3. 3. ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
    Lodges and holiday caravans are normally available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Touring and camping pitches are available from 12pm on the day of arrival. All accommodation and pitches must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

  4. 4. GUESTS
    We are a family holiday park and regret that, except in some circumstances, bookings can not be accepted from single sex parties or groups under the age of 21. The number of persons, including children and babies, occupying the accommodation must not exceed the stated number of persons as shown and shall be exactly as stated on the booking. The accommodation and facilities shall be used only by the persons in the booking.

  5. 5. PRICES
    Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at 17.5% at time of printing and are subject to change if rates change before you make your payment. If new taxes or levies are introduced we will re-invoice you accordingly.

  6. 6. CHANGING YOUR BOOKING
    All amendments or alterations to booking details are subject to a charge of £15 to cover additional costs. All alterations must be notified in writing and accompanied by £15 and your booking confirmation. Returned cheques or unpaid credit card charges will be charged the £15 administration fee. Bookings may not be transferred to any individual other than those in the original party without prior consent of the Management. Touring caravan and tent pitches are bookable for one party only and may not be left on site for any change of occupancy.

  7. 7. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
    Please let us know if you have any special requirements when making your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Every effort will be made to allocate accommodation and touring pitches as requested, but this cannot be guaranteed. Special requirements can not be made a condition of the booking as they are subject to availability. Please inform us of any changes to your needs prior to and during your stay.

  8. 8. CANCELLATION
    Unless notice in writing of cancellation of reservation is received by the management no less than 28 days prior to the commencement of the reservations period, the applicants will be liable for the full amount due in respect of the reservation. The deposit is non-returnable.

  9. 9. CANCELLATION PLAN
    The cancellation plan is £3 per night for lodges, £2 per night for caravans and £1 per night for touring and camping. Our cancellation plan must be taken out at time of booking and covers the whole of your party up to 24 hours before your holiday commences against cancellation due to:
    (a) Redundancy or jury service of a member of the party.
    (b) Accident, injury, illness or death of a member of the party or of a close relative of a member of the party.
    (c) Pregnancy of a member of the party or close relation.
    We guarantee to return the full amount of deposit and balance paid to Beverley Holidays under this plan. Please give as much notice as possible and provide the appropriate authorative documentation in confirmation of your reason for cancellation, i.e. doctor's note, death certificate, redundancy qualifying for statutory payment. Claims outside the specified reasons for cancellation do not qualify. The cancellation plan is non-returnable.

  10. 10. FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES
    Modifications and improvements to accommodation and park facilities are being carried out continuously which may result in changes in the facilities shown in the brochure. The company shall not be liable in respect of their non availability or otherwise due to circumstances beyond its control. While we use every effort to ensure the availability of all facilities and as advertised in our brochure or otherwise we reserve the right to alter or close certain facilities or activities without prior notice. If such a change is necessary, we will endeavour to advise you as soon as possible. Entertainment and use of swimming pool is fully inclusive but we reserve the right to change a nominal entrance fee. A small charge is made for other facilities and activities including baths, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis, boules, soft play area, sauna, spa, gym - plus other activities.

  11. 11. ENTERTAINMENT BARS
    Persons under the age of 18 years are not allowed in the Entertainment Bars without a parent or guardian and are not allowed in certain sections of the bar area. At busy times seats in the entertainment areas cannot be guaranteed. At certain times pushchairs and prams may not be permitted.

  12. 12. TOURING, MOTORHOMES & TENTS
    Our pitches come in all different shapes and sizes. We need to know the size of your accommodation at the time of booking to ensure your allocated pitch is suitable. Please inform us of the measurements of your tourer, motorhome, camper van, tent, awning and gazebo. A 15 metre cable is required for Electric, Service and Premium Service pitches. A 10 metre hose is required for Service and Premium Service pitches.

  13. 13. ACCOMMODATION
    The accommodation should be left in a clean and tidy condition. You will be responsible for any loss, damage or breakages that may occur. Lodges and caravans may vary in design and age. All floor plans, layouts and size are an approximate guide only.

  14. 14. LINEN
    Lodges and caravans are provided with duvets and bed linen when booked directly with Beverley Holidays. Please provide rubber sheets for children. Towels and tea towels are not included in the accommodation. Towels can be hired on arrival.

  15. 15. SERVICES
    Use of accommodation electricity, gas, heating and water are included in the tariff when booked direct with Beverley Holidays.

  16. 16. COTS, HIGHCHAIRS & PUSHCHAIRS
    Cot, highchairs and pushchairs are available at £10 per week or part week and must be booked in advance. Cots can only be used in the lounge areas of accommodation. Bed linen for cots and cot rails are not provided. Cot bed rails are available at no extra cost in some holiday caravans. If you have a small child and require this facility, please let us know when making your booking. Each caravan with this facility has the rail situated in the twin room only.

  17. 17. CARS
    Free car parks are provided and should be used at all times. Boats, etc, are liable to a small parking charge. One car may be parked per touring pitch with the second car parked in the car park. Commercial vehicles are not allowed on the parks.

  18. 18. CHILDREN
    Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.

  19. 19. PETS
    Dogs, except support and assistance dogs, and other pets are not allowed.

  20. 20. NON-SMOKING
    Public areas and some accommodation are non-smoking. All accommodation will be non-smoking in 2008.

  21. 21. LOST PROPERTY
    A charge is made for returning lost property. Please notify us as soon as possible. Lost property is only kept for a short period, after which it is given to charity.

  22. 22. PARK RULES
    Beverley Holidays aims to provide a relaxed holiday and we make as few rules as possible. Those that do exist are for the benefit of all our guests and therefore we ask you to abide by them. Beverley Holidays reserves the right to refuse acceptance, or to terminate the visit of, any persons whose conduct is detrimental to the holiday parks or the comfort of other visitors. No refund shall be made.

  23. 23. LIABILITY
    We do not accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage suffered by you or a member of your party, unless there is wilful default and negligence by our employees or us.
